Marshall Compactor

The Marshall Compaction method is used to select asphalt binder content at a desired density that satisfies minimum stability and range of flow values. Typically found in construction materials laboratories, the compactor is used as a tool to determine optimum asphalt content for maximum strength and minimum deformation. Pine offers two Marshall Compactor models to produce 4″ or 6″ asphalt specimens for hot mix design and performance testing in compliance with AASHTO T 245 and ATM D6926.

Adaptable

With the evolution of technology, the blow counters on Pine’s Marshall Compactor has changed. Today, the blow counters are digital.  To extend the life of the compactor, Pine developed a solution to update old counters to the current digital technology.
