The 150-mm G1 Ram Foot Assembly is not interchangeable with Pine’s 125X or G2 Superpave Gyratory Compactors.
A problem experienced with the G1 ram foot is that it rotates loose over time. A loose G1 ram foot affects specimen height measurements. Pine updated the ram foot assembly with set screws to prevent ram foot rotation. However, some Pine G1 gyratory compactors still have the original ram foot assembly.
